The brochure (size: closed 11x24,5 cm, open 66x49 cm) offers an overview of the Alta Via dei Parchi, with a general map and short descriptions of the trail, the environment and the parks. Most of the brochure is dedicated to the description of the 27 stages across the Apennine between Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and The Marches: 10 provinces (Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna, Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena, Rimini, Lucca, Massa-Carrara and Pesaro-Urbino) and 500 km of uphill and downhill slopes connecting two National Parks (Appennino Tosco-Emiliano and Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna) five Regional Parks (Valli del Cedra e del Parma, Alto Appennino Modenese, Corno alle Scale, Laghi Suviana and Brasimone e Vena del Gesso) and one Interregional Park (Sasso Simone e Simoncello).
